This car was the original TDC ex works which won the 1984 and 1985 Swiss Rally Championships with Eric Ferreux and Serge Audermars as codriver. In 1983 the car was driven by the Swiss works driver Jean-Claude Bering, who finished second in the championship with the same score as the champion Eric Ferreux (43 points). Ferreux could win that year because of the number of rallys won during the 1983 season.

in 1986, when the Group B rallye cars were forbidden by the FIA, Renault Swiss sold the car to Finland, where it participated in various rallyes and where The Classic Road bought it back in 2.000. Everything on this car is fully original, engine, papers, chassis number, shell, suspensions, official papers, etc….
